Fakuma 2023

As always, MKV was present with their own booth at this year’s Fakuma in Friedrichshafen at lake Constance in the usual surroundings of hall A3. The MKV team (picture) engaged with customers, suppliers and interested parties to talk about recycling, recyclates, the circular economy, CO₂-savings and sustainability.

Recycling of plastics and the use of recyclates has become very popular. The MKV booth recorded a high number of visitors and the overall summary of the trade show was very positive, contrasting the current economic climate in the industry. Decades of experience enable MKV to provide good advice to companies on disposal concepts, virgin material substitutions or the use of special compounds.

For all souvenir hunters the hall was worth a visit as well as Arburg’s injection moulding machines continuously produced mini-toolboxes, vegetable graters or PP-cups.

Besides the “K” in Düsseldorf, Fakuma is one of the main trade shows for the plastics industry in Europe. The entire value chain, from raw material suppliers and traders, mechanical engineering with all its facets, manufacturers all the way to recycling companies is represented. Thus it is a given for MKV to be part of it and have its own booth for over 25 years.
