KPA show 2025

The first highlight of the year 2025.

The KPA trade show in Ulm, February 25th and 26th, was an outstanding highlight for the plastics industry and offered a unique platform for innovation and networking. With over 250 exhibitors from various areas of the plastics industry, the event attracted professionals from all over Europe and recorded a 10% increase in trade visitors compared to the last time, to more than 2,200. This shows continuous growth of the trade show, confirming KPA's position as a leading platform for the plastics industry in Germany and neighbouring countries in the future.

Live demonstrations and presentations gave visitors a deep insight into the latest trends and developments. The main focus was the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and business partners, which not only allowed for new cooperations, but also provided valuable impulses for the future of the industry.

Although the KPA is still one of the smaller and younger trade shows, it is characterized by its high level of expertise.

As in the previous year, MKV was represented at the KNF joint stand. Our team, Markus Lutz and Charlotte Müller, answered all questions about the recycling of engineering thermoplastics. What is a recyclate? How does recycling work? What is the difference between regrind, regranulate and compound?

Even at a trade show like the KPA, it still happens that you meet people from the plastics industry who have previously dealt with these topics little or not at all. In these situations, the MKV is pleased to create a greater awareness of the circular economy, conserving resources and CO2 savings through the use of recycled materials.

The KPA was the first highlight of 2025 and so good that MKV decided to book for 2026 before the fair ended. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Until then!
