MKV expands its activities in North America and establishes a subsidiary in the USA.

MKV GmbH Kunststoffgranulate, based in Beselich-Obertiefenbach near Limburg, Germany, will establish a subsidiary in the USA – MKV Polymers Inc. – on January 1, 2026.

The US subsidiary will be based in Akron, Ohio, and will initially be represented by a sales office, serving the entire North American market. A dedicated production facility is also planned for the medium to long term.

The US market will be served from the outset with local manufacturing, in cooperation with partners, using products under the ZIA brand name. Customs issues are therefore not relevant. The Canadian market will also be supplied. Due to the prevailing CETA free trade agreement between Europe and Canada, this is possible from Germany with a local warehouse.

The move into the US market has been planned for some time and is based on continuously growing sales and interest in ZIA compounds, as well as the customer demand for greater flexibility, shorter delivery times, and increased planning security.

MKV looks forward to this new chapter in its company history.
